Garment Care

Washing Instructions for Your garments.

To ensure your Chikankari Kurti stays beautiful and lasts for years, it’s important to take special care while washing. Follow these simple steps to preserve the elegance and craftsmanship of your garment:

Washing instructions:

1.Hand Wash Only:
- Always hand wash your Chikankari Kurti in cold water.
- If the material has heavy embroidery, dry cleaning is also an option.
2.Use Mild Detergent:
- Choose a mild detergent to avoid fading the colors and damaging the delicate embroidery.
3. Avoid Scrubbing:
- Do not scrub or rub the fabric harshly. Instead, gently rub it between your palms to remove dirt or stains.
4. Spot Clean Stains:
- For heavy spots, use a soft bristle brush with mild detergent and gently clean the affected area.
5. Do Not Bleach:
- Never bleach your Chikankari Kurti, as it can damage the delicate threads and embroidery.

Drying Instructions:

1.No Machine Drying:
- Never use a washing machine dryer. The heat and spinning can distort the embroidery.
2.Dry in the Shade:
- Always dry your Chikankari Kurti in a shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can cause the colors to fade.

Ironing Instructions:

- Always iron on the reverse side of your Chikankari Kurti. Use a low heat setting.
- Do not iron directly on the embroidered areas to prevent damage to the threads.
- For lighter fabrics like georgette, place a thin cloth between the iron and the fabric to protect the embroidery.

Additional Tips

- Dry cleaning is recommended for all dyed products to prevent color bleeding caused by the natural dyeing process.
-Avoid Perfume on the Chikankari Kurti: Do not spray perfume directly on your garments, as it can damage the delicate embroidery.
- Treat Stains Gently: If you get a stain, dab gently with water rather than rubbing it.

By following these simple care instructions, you can keep your Chikankari Kurta  looking fresh and vibrant for years.
